"1842" is Northern Tasmania's largest commercial art gallery and represents over a dozen of Tasmania's best artists.  They include the macroscopic work of Craig Williams.  Our landscapists include virtuoso painter Gay Hutton and newcomers such as Julia Rogers and naive stylist Philippa Bromson.  We also feature work by talented contemporary artists such as John Butler, Christiana, Tony Ryan, Claudette and David Lake.  Our glass artists include Julian Bamping, Rob Clarke and Tony Trivett. We also show the superb human form photography of Launceston photographer Jon Morrison.
